The Electro Kinetic Technologies Pony Express 1031-M is an electric motorized platform cart built to move loads up to 1,500 lbs across warehouses, hospitals, and production floors without manual pushing. It carries cargo on a 49 in by 25.5 in non-skid steel deck set 11.5 in off the ground, and its center wheel drive gives it a tighter turning radius than a front wheel drive cart for tight aisles and crowded docks. The frame is heavy duty powder coated white steel with curved corners and full wrap around vinyl bumpers that protect both the cart and its surroundings.
Power comes from two 12V maintenance-free AGM deep-cycle batteries paired with an onboard UL and cUL listed 120/240 VAC smart charger and an LED battery level gauge. A permanent magnet DC motor drives the cart from 0 to 3 mph in high mode and 0 to 1.5 mph in low mode through an ergonomic variable speed forward and reverse control. Foam-filled never-flat drive tires, solid state regenerative braking, and an automatic holding brake keep the cart stable and in position on the 6 degree inclines it is rated to handle.
The 1031-M is the medium length member of the Pony Express 1031 family, sized between the short deck and the long deck while keeping the same 25.5 in width. It is proudly made in the USA and backed by a 5-year limited warranty on the frame and motor, making it a durable powered alternative to hand-pushed platform trucks for repetitive heavy load transport.

The 1031-M is rated for loads up to 1,500 lbs on its 49 in by 25.5 in platform deck. If you need 2,000 lb capacity in the same footprint, the base Pony Express 1031 carries the higher rating.
It uses a variable speed control with two modes. High mode runs from 0 to 3 mph and low mode runs from 0 to 1.5 mph, both with forward and reverse, so you can move quickly across open floor or slow down for tight spots.
The cart runs on two 12V maintenance-free AGM deep-cycle batteries that provide about 8 hours of operation. The onboard UL and cUL listed 120/240 VAC charger recharges in about 4 hours and an LED gauge shows the battery level.

The Pony Express 1031 Motorized Platform Carts comes with a 5-year warranty on the frame and motor. It doesn't cover service/transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, and outdoor use. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. Warranty only valid for original buyer with a sales receipt. Any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy.
