The Pony Express 1031-M MPCS-264915 is a walk-behind motorized platform cart built by Electro Kinetic Technologies for offices, mailrooms, commercial facilities, and light assembly areas. It carries up to 1,500 lb on a 49 in by 25.5 in non-skid steel deck that sits 11.5 in off the floor, so loading and unloading stay at a comfortable working height. A center wheel drive system gives it a tighter turning radius than front-wheel-drive carts, which makes it easy to maneuver through doorways, aisles, and crowded work areas.
Power comes from a 35 Ah deep-cycle AGM battery that supports up to 8 hours of use and recharges in about 4 hours from any standard outlet through the onboard UL and cUL listed charger. The operator controls speed with a variable thumb throttle that runs 0 to 1.5 mph in low mode and 0 to 3.0 mph in high mode, in both forward and reverse. An electromagnetic parking brake and an automatic holding brake keep the cart in place on inclines.
Built in the USA from welded, powder-coated steel with curved corners and full-perimeter vinyl bumpers, the 1031-M is designed to eliminate the push and pull strain of manual carts and to protect walls, equipment, and product. Safety features include a horn, an emergency stop button, dead-man operation that brings the cart to a controlled stop when the operator lets go, and a keyed power switch that can be removed to prevent unauthorized use. It is backed by a 5-year warranty on the frame and motor.

It doesn't cover service/transportation costs, normal wear items, damage from misuse, unauthorized work or modifications, and outdoor use. Shipping damage and incidental damages are also not covered. Warranty only valid for original buyer with a sales receipt. Any warranty changes need approval from Electro Kinetic Technologies, LLC.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. I am very thankful for the day I first saw the MOJO on the internet. I I now own my very own MOJO.

The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy.
